The Calisthenics Association grades the clubs on their performance records. The Carine Club is currently a "B" Grade Club. This in turn is broken down into age groups and divisions.

Elementaries 3-5 Years old
Sub Juniors 6-9 years old
Juniors 10-12 years old
Intermediates 13-15 years old
Seniors 16 years and over

Ages are at 31st December in the year of competitions.

At Carine, our girls also trains in teams. A squad is formed at the commencement of each year (usually by the end of the first term) from which girls are selected to make teams 1 or 2, with a minimum of 8 girls in each team. At this stage, it is ESSENTIAL that the coach has the commitment from the girls and their parents that they will continue with Calisthenics until the end of the year. This is to ensure uniformity within the team and to ensure team changes are kept to a minimum.

These teams compete in two competitions each year. The first one being held in the beginning of August being a smaller competition and the State Championship Competitions are held during the end of August beginning of September of each year. Clubs may also enter teams in the non-competing concerts - Taste of Stage (held in March) and the Future Stars Concert (held in October) . Carine Club enters teams in both of these events.
