About our club
The Carine Calisthenics Club was founded in May 1977 by Pam Bartlett a school teacher and was heavily supported by her mum Wynn who made all the girls costumes. During the early years, the club travelled the southwest region of WA to show case Calisthenics and they also travelled to Melbourne in 1985 to compete against the clubs of Victoria.
In 1990, the Calisthenics association of Western Australia (CAWA) opened a purpose built threatre where the girls perform their annual competitions, competing against other clubs of WA.
Non competing teams (aged 3-6) gain stage and performance experience through the annual future stars program which is held in October.
